Hochstein School of Music & Dance provides general music instruction including “music and mindfulness” and chorus, as well as a Suzuki Strings program.

Local Sound Collaborative

Local Sound Collaborative artist instructors offer fun and active engagement in group singing, basic percussion and rhythm instruction, dancing and coordination activities, and general music theory.

Rochester Education Foundation

Rochester Education Foundation partners with the community to provide previously owned instruments to students in the city of Rochester. REF also teams with the community to collect new and gently used books for students.

The Kanack School of Musical Artistry

The Kanack School of Musical Artistry’s certified teachers provide Creative Ability Development (CAD) improvisation classes, Suzuki and other instrument classes, orchestras, fiddle and folk music, and vocal ensembles.

The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO)

The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) concerts and ensembles bring the power of live symphonic music directly to students, connecting classroom learning while inspiring creativity and curiosity.

United Youth Music and Arts

United Youth Music and Arts’ curriculum includes drumline, audio/visual production, studio recording and jazz orchestra. Artist teachers incorporate life skills and leadership components through exposure to positive role models through mentoring, training and practice.
